What is spray treatment?
Spray treatment is a preparatory treatment that protects the wood against moisture and mould. The ideal base when you'd like to finish and protect the wood yourself later on. Both the inside and outside, along with the joints you can no longer reach after assembly, are treated. The look stays light and natural. Suitable for the Premium, Prima, Pro and Log Cabin building systems. Also applicable for windows and doors.
With a colourless pre-treatment, you should follow up immediately with at least 2 coats of stain.
With a translucent white pre-treatment, you should follow up within six months with at least 2 coats of stain.
With all other colours, you should follow up within a year with at least 2 coats of stain.
We recommend inspecting the paintwork every year. That way, your garden house keeps its optimal protection and appearance.
Benefits of spray treatment
Hard-to-reach areas are protected before assembly.
Protects against mould and rot straight after installation.
The wood is finished with a base coat, so stain or paint adheres better.
