Lead times and production
Every Lugarde garden building is made to order. As a result, lead times may vary depending on the season and production schedules.
During the peak season, from April to September, lead times may be longer than usual. We therefore recommend taking this into account when planning your project.
Access to the delivery location
Your order will be delivered by a large lorry. In most cases, this will be an articulated vehicle measuring approximately 20 metres in length. To ensure a smooth delivery, the location must be easily accessible and provide sufficient space for manoeuvring and unloading.

If your property is difficult to access, an alternative unloading point within approximately 100–200 metres can often be arranged. The goods can then be moved using a forklift truck. If you are unsure whether your address is suitable for delivery, please discuss this with the transport company in advance.
Arranging your delivery
Deliveries are normally made Monday to Friday between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm.
The transport company will contact you in advance to confirm the delivery date and an estimated delivery window. Due to traffic and other circumstances, an exact arrival time cannot be guaranteed. If you are unable to be present, someone else may accept the delivery on your behalf.
Please note that deliveries cannot usually be rescheduled at short notice. Transport is planned well in advance and vehicles are loaded several days before dispatch. If a delivery needs to be rearranged, additional charges may apply.
Delivery and packaging
All Lugarde garden buildings and canopies are carefully packaged using environmentally friendly protective wrapping that can be reused. Upon delivery, you will receive a document pack containing all essential information and components, including:
Construction drawings
Materials list
Assembly instructions
Fixings and fasteners
Project logbook
We recommend checking your delivery within eight days of receipt.
Using the materials list, please verify that all items have been delivered and that no parts have been damaged during transport. If anything is missing or damaged, please contact your dealer as soon as possible.
Planning a crane or installation team
We recommend not booking a crane or installation team for the planned delivery date. While every effort is made to deliver on schedule, circumstances beyond our control may occasionally require the transport company to adjust the delivery date or time.
Neither Lugarde nor the transport company can be held responsible for any additional costs resulting from delivery changes, including crane hire or installation team waiting time. For this reason, we recommend arranging installation or lifting equipment only after your delivery has been completed.
